While us girls were waiting for others to shower after the creek, Rachel and a few other girls took a pen/ marker/ permanent marker to Jordan's legs. Among other things, Rachel wrote, "I'm a buck-tooth redneck who hates ravioli with lime juice." ???? :-D

Hello. I was just looking at your blog. I found your comment on Maidens of Modesty under the nail polish/paint discussion. Since you asked me about what I wrote about Jezebel I thought I'd do my best explain. :D You may have heard the story of Jezebel? You can read the story in Kings. She basically was a very wicked woman, and it says that she "painted her face" when she saw that someone was coming to her. Because of her wickedness she died a terrible death. You can read how she painted her face and how she died in 2 Kings 9:30-37 (I use KJV). I feel like God wants us to be natural, the way we are and not paint ourselves up! :D Personally, I do not wear any makeup or jewelry.
