Picture this: 20 some parents and young adults, sitting on a conglomeration of couches, tables, and folding chairs shoved in the corner of a big room. Laughing and sharing "Two truths and a lie". Getting to know each other deeper. Eating cheese sticks and drinking sparkling juices and hot tea. Occasionally hopping up to play referee to the boy's Catan game. Several people have bad colds, and no one cares. Sharing tissue boxes, laughing at each other's lost voices. Everyone's kind of curled up and oh so comfortable on the cold rainy night.
For 3 1/2 hours. It was a great time. No one wanted to leave, despite being able to feel the literal congestion in the room. :p
I love Sunday evenings.
I woke up with a cold today. And you know what? I don't mind. :)
